Super Bowl XLIII

I had the good fortune of attending Super Bowl XLIII with my good friend Paul Paquette. WHAT A BLAST! A real contrast from Super Bowl 41 in Miami - in which I got totally drenched and almost caught pneumonia. The weather was perfect, the game was one of the best in history, and we had really good seats - 17 yard line - about 20 rows up in lower section.

Before the game, Paul and I had a nice little tailgate with some Steeler fans parked next to us - no clue who they were - just nice random guys. Then, we managed to make our way through the 45 minute security line process - happy to report that it was the only bad thing about the whole experience - and we can live with it. We then went through the NFL Experience, thought twice about purchasing an overpriced T-Shirt, then headed to our seats and enjoyed a cold brew and some stadium dogs.

We had a special treat too - Adam Sandler and Kevin James were sitting 1 row in front of us. They were really cool.

I am so thankful for all the opportunities I have had to attend some really wonderful spectator sports events in the past year. I never take them for granted. It's been a good run - in the past year I have definitely ticked a couple of items off my "bucket list". Well, I really don't have a bucket list, but, you know what I mean.
